We’re looking for smart, actionable stories on AI, cybersecurity, cloud, data privacy, and digital transformation—reported explainers, case studies, field notes, and clear takes grounded in real work. If you can teach our readers something new (and back it up), we want to see it.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
01
A focused, timely angle
Lead with a headline, a one-sentence thesis, and why it matters right now. Tell us what you’ll cover (and what you won’t), who you’ll talk to or cite, and what a reader will walk away understanding or able to do differently.
02
Credible sources and specificity
Bring original reporting, firsthand experience, or a clearly explained technical workflow. Link to relevant work, datasets, docs, repos, or prior coverage. We value precision over hype—define terms, show your reasoning, and avoid unverified claims or vendor copy.
03
A realistic scope and format
Most features land best at 1,200–2,500 words, but strong shorter pieces are welcome. Include an outline, estimated length, and any visuals you can provide. Pitch one story at a time, and note if the idea is exclusive or has appeared elsewhere.
GOOD TO KNOW
We read every pitch and typically respond within 7–10 business days. If a piece is time-sensitive, flag the deadline in your note and we’ll do our best to prioritize it.
We pay competitive freelance rates, agreed in writing before assignment. Payment is made on publication, and rates vary by format, reporting needs, and complexity.
Submissions FAQ
We’re looking for clear, timely angles in AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data privacy, emerging tech, and digital transformation. Share a working headline, your thesis in 2–3 sentences, why it matters now, and 3–5 bullet points on what you’ll report or explain. Include relevant sources, datasets, or tools you’ll use, plus 1–2 links to your published work.
We usually commission from pitches rather than accept unsolicited full drafts. Start with a short pitch and a few clips; if it’s a fit, we’ll align on scope, structure, and timeline. Review the details on our Submissions page before sending anything long-form.
We try to respond within 5–10 business days. If we need more time, it’s typically because we’re reviewing fit, originality, and potential overlap with our publishing calendar. If your pitch is time-sensitive, say so up front and note any embargoes or key dates so we can prioritize appropriately.
We don’t publish generic product press releases, link-building guest posts, or thin “trend” summaries without original reporting or practical insight. Pitches focused on hype, unverified claims, or undisclosed conflicts of interest aren’t a fit. When in doubt, propose a specific takeaway for readers and how you’ll substantiate it with evidence, examples, or expert input.
